back for more

i have been making cards as of late but i've been forgetting to take pictures of them before i give them out to people!

so... i've been making christmas cards, i figured these i can post before i give them out since they're not really personalized.

my lighting is pretty bad and my background is lame, haha.  i'm just to lazy to clean up my desk!

i like this one but i placed the snowflakes in bad places.  you can't tell but there are white embossed snowflakes in the background too.  been experimenting with the blender pen for my snowman.

Cuttlebug?

Since my card-making grant fell through, I've decided that buying a Cricut machine on my own is really quite unreasonable.  As a compromise, I'm debating whether or not to buy a Cuttlebug instead.  It's around $70 so that's still pricey...
Anyway, I've been in a card-making funk so no pictures to post today.  I have quite a few cards that I don't really like so I don't want to post them.  Maybe later =cP

Thank You

Made this card for A and J.  Turned out pretty nice I thought :)

I need to figure out how to make the cards a little more clean and professional looking...I think I'm just too impatient when I am waiting for the ink to dry, hehehe.

Happy Birthday Irene!

One thing about posting is I have to resist posting cards before I give them to people!

I'm going over to a friend's house to celebrate Irene's birthday.
Super tired so I'm going in almost-pajamas attire and when I get home, I'm going to jump... or crawl in to bed.

Here's the card I made for Irene :)

Just for You

I wanted to make a card using the Serif Digital Scrapbook program.  I'm quite proud of this creation... it turned out better than expected.  I'm not happy with my picture taking skills but please bear with me!

welcome!

Inspired by other card-making blogs, I've decided to make a blog to keep records of the cards that I have made!

I know the pictures are pretty bad but this is the one that I made for my mom's birthday, August 2010.
It was my first time using embossing powder.  Cutting out the little bear was a bit of a pain but it turned out pretty well, considering I'm an amateur at this!

This is with flash but it's not as shaky:
